Artist's Comments
This is my tribute to Rodney Matthews who has long been one of my favourite fantasy artists. I've always really liked this concept but wanted to do my own version. The original was done in inks with I guess an airbrush to some extent. This was done by hand with acrylics with changes where I wanted - it's not a direct copy as what's the point?
 The image is approx 14" x 14" and I have no idea how long it took - too long probably. It's a hard one to photograph so I think I'll look into getting it scanned. You can get the idea from this though  |
